Child psychology

A child cannot talk about their feelings the way an adult can. So working with children means working through images, play, movement and relationship.

What parents come with

  • Age crises (3, 7, 13–14 years)
  • Fears and anxiety
  • Sleep problems
  • Aggression, tantrums, «bad» behaviour
  • Learning difficulties, school refusal
  • Peer relationship issues
  • Kindergarten/school adaptation
  • Parental divorce, new sibling
  • ADHD
  • Eating habits

How we work

Play therapy

For ages 3–10. Through play, the child lives through what they cannot put into words. The psychologist observes and helps the child become aware.

Art therapy

Drawing, modelling, sandplay, fairy tales. A safe way to express anxiety, fear, aggression. Often used together with parents.

Family therapy

A child changes within the family system — not in a vacuum. Often work is done with parents and child together, or with parents only.
